How Do I Check My Out-of-Network Policy?
Most major insurance policies have out-of-network benefits coverage, so you may still use your insurance in this case. You may have coinsurance or a copay for your visit.
If you want to use your insurance for your services, call our office to learn more. Our office manager and billing coordinator, Michael Suchman, will be happy to research your benefits and provide a rough estimate of the coverage your policy may provide. However, a consultation and examination are necessary to determine specific pricing, as each procedure or surgery varies in cost.
Our Process
Here’s how our process generally works:
- Call Chelsea Foot and Ankle to schedule a consultation with one of our expert podiatrists.
- After you provide Michael with your insurance information, he will research your policy options.
- Once he has an estimate, he will call you back and share the potential costs. All of this happens before your appointment, so there are no surprise costs. We are committed to working with you and your insurance company to ensure a smooth experience and the utmost transparency.
- On the day of your appointment, you will receive a written confirmation of fees, as discussed prior.

If you do not have out-of-network benefits or insurance coverage, we offer self-pay options and flexible financing. While we do not partner with third-party financing companies, we offer payment plans for your convenience.
We will work with you to break up payments into smaller installments if up-front payments are too steep.
