In addition to his dedication to his patients and his practice, Dr. Ciment devotes much of his time to sharing his expertise in the emerging field of food as medicine. Dr. Ciment is an advocate of a whole foods, plant-based diet having personally experienced a life-saving transformation when he made the decision to go vegan and eat in a more healthful and sustainable way. 

Dr. Ciment is a member of the core faculty at the Main Street Vegan Academy, and he lectures about health issues and their relationship to the foods we eat regularly.
